SNV is an international not-for-profit development organisation. SNV believes that no-one should have to live in poverty and that all people should have the opportunity to pursue their own sustainable development.
SNV works in 36 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America with an aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of 40 million people living in poverty over the period 2011-2015.
SNV’s team of advisors use their specialist expertise in 3 priority sectors: i) Agriculture, ii) Renewable Energy and iii) Water, Sanitation & Hygiene to contribute to solving some of the leading problems facing the world today.
SNV-Nepal supported WTLCP's front loading programme (also called WTLBP ) from May 2004 to December 2005 and continued its financial and technical support to WTLCP till December 2010. Currently, SNV-Nepal is providing technical support to WTLCP.
